Strawberry Sensation Pie

Ingredients: For the crust: – 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs – 1/3 cup melted butter – 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the filling: – 1 1/2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 cup cornstarch – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup water – 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar for the crust. Press this mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until it's set. Allow it to cool completely.

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt for the filling. Gradually whisk in the water and lemon juice until the mixture is smooth.

Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens and becomes clear. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Place the sliced strawberries in the cooled crust and pour the thickened mixture over them, ensuring the strawberries are evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

1. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. 2. Spread the whipped cream over the chilled strawberry filling.

1. Optionally, garnish with additional sliced strawberries on top. 2. Refrigerate the pie for a few hours before serving to allow it to set completely. Enjoy your delicious Strawberry Sensation Pie!
