Secret Heart Strawberry Vanilla Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients: For the Pound Cake: – 1 cup unsalted butter, softened – 2 cups granulated sugar – 4 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 cup sour cream

For the Strawberry Filling: – 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Vanilla Glaze: – 1 cup powdered sugar – 1-2 tablespoons milk – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.



1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. 2. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
