Salted Caramel Pecan Pie

Ingredients: For the Pie Crust: – 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 2-3 tablespoons ice water

For the Filling: – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 cup light corn syrup – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 3 large eggs – 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

For the Salted Caramel: – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 cup water – 1/2 cup heavy cream – 4 tablespoons unsalted butter – 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions: 1. Prepare the Pie Crust:In a food processor, combine flour, chilled butter, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water, one tablespoon at a time, and pulse until the dough comes together.

1. Preheat the Oven:Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Prepare the Pecan Filling:In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt.

1. Fill the Pie Crust:Pour the pecan filling into the prepared pie crust. 2. Bake:Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
