Pumpkin Spice Pie

Ingredients: For the Pie Crust: – 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 3-4 tablespoons ice water

For the Pumpkin Filling: – 2 cups pumpkin puree (canned or homemade) – 3/4 cup packed brown sugar – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg – 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 3 large eggs – 1 cup evaporated milk

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. For the Pie Crust:In a food processor, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

– Gradually add the ice water, one tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough comes together. – Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, shape it into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.



For the Pumpkin Filling: – In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.

– Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. – Gradually add the evaporated milk, mixing until smooth.
