Pesto Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients: – 8 oz (225g) of your favorite pasta – 1 cup fresh basil leaves, packed – 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese – 1/3 cup pine nuts – 2 cloves garlic, peeled

– 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil – Salt and pepper, to taste – 1 pint (about 2 cups) cherry tomatoes, halved – Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions: 1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. In a food processor, combine the fresh basil, grated Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped.

With the food processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil until the mixture becomes a smooth pesto sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

In a large bowl, toss the cooked pasta with the pesto sauce until evenly coated.



1. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the pasta and gently toss to combine. 2. Serve the pesto pasta with an extra sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
