Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients: For the Crust: – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – A pinch of salt

For the Pecan Filling: – 3/4 cup light corn syrup – 1/2 cup packed brown sugar – 2 large eggs – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions: 1. Preheat the Oven: – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Crust: – In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. – Mix until the dough comes together. – Press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking pan.

Make the Pecan Filling: – In another bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined. – Stir in the chopped pecans.
