Peach Paradise Pie

Ingredients: For the Crust: – 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs – 1/3 cup melted butter – 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the Filling: – 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 cup cornstarch

– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg – 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions: 1. Preheat the Oven:Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Make the Crust:In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow it to cool.

3. Prepare the Filling:In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated.

4. Assemble the Pie:Spoon the peach filling into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.

5. Make the Topping:In a separate bowl, combine flour, rolled oats, and brown sugar. Add the cold butter pieces and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until crumbly. Sprinkle this topping over the peach filling.

6. Bake:Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown, and the filling is bubbly.

7. Cool and Serve:Allow the pie to cool for at least 1-2 hours before serving. This will give the filling time to set. Serve slices with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
