Ooey Gooey Pecan Pie Brownies

Ingredients: For the Brownie Layer: – 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted – 2 cups granulated sugar – 4 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup cocoa powder – 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Pecan Pie Layer: – 1 cup chopped pecans – 1/2 cup light corn syrup – 1/4 cup packed brown sugar – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 large eggs

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.

3.  In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. 4. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.



5. In another bowl, mix together chopped pecans, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs for the pecan pie layer. Pour this mixture over the brownie layer.

6. Use a spatula to spread the pecan pie layer evenly over the brownie layer. 7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
