NFL playoff bracket after divisional round games

The Divisional Round wrapped up on Sunday, with two more spots in the conference championship games secured while two more teams were eliminated from the 2024 NFL playoffs.

The Detroit Lions punched their ticket to the NFC Championship game with a 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as Jared Goff threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Buffalo Bills in Highmark Stadium on Sunday night, marking the third postseason matchup between Mahomes and Bills signal-caller Josh Allen

Here are the latest Super Bowl odds of the remaining contenders, a brief recap of Sunday's action, and a look at the current playoff picture.

Although the Buccaneers recorded 408 total yards, two interceptions from Baker Mayfield combined with a missed field goal from kicker Chase McLaughlin were too much for the team to overcome.

Detroit's offense was humming for most of the afternoon, as rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs racked up 74 yards on nine carries. This included a 31-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to give the Lions a 24-17 lead.

Both teams traded trips to the end zone before the Buccaneers received one last shot to tie the game with just under two minutes remaining in regulation

The Lions have excelled in their first postseason appearance under head coach Dan Campbell, making the NFC Championship game after failing to record a single playoff win since the 1991-92 season.
