McDonald's Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients: For the filling: – 4 cups of peeled and diced apples (use a mix of sweet and tart apples) – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg – 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For assembly: – 1/4 cup melted butter – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, and lemon juice. Toss the mixture until the apples are evenly coated.

1. Roll out one pie crust and place it in the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish. 2. Spoon the apple filling into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly.

1. Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the apple filling. Trim and crimp the edges to seal the pie. 2. Use a sharp knife to make a few small slits on the top crust to allow steam to escape during baking.

1. Brush the top crust with melted butter. 2. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the melted butter.

1. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. 2. Allow the pie to cool for a bit before slicing and serving.
