Lemon Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients: – 1 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought) – 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar – 1/4 cup all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 3 large eggs

– 1 cup buttermilk – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted – 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice – 1 tablespoon lemon zest – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

1. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside. 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and salt. 3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

1. Stir in the buttermilk, melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until the filling is well combined and smooth. 2. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.

1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. 2. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
