Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

Ingredients: – 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade) – 1 cup pecan halves – 3 large eggs – 1 cup light corn syrup – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup honey – 1 cup crispy rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined. 2. Stir in the honey and mix until smooth.

1. Spread the pecan halves evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. 2. Pour the honey mixture over the pecans. 3. Sprinkle the crispy rice cereal evenly over the top of the pie.

1. Place the pie on a baking sheet to catch any potential drips, and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set. 2. If the edges of the crust start to brown too quickly, you can cover them with aluminum foil.
