Durian Pie

Ingredients: – 2 cups durian flesh, seed removed and finely mashed – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 3 large eggs – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed durian flesh, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

1. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Make sure the mixture is smooth and well combined. 2. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt, continuing to mix until everything is evenly incorporated.

1. Pour the durian mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it out evenly. 2. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

1. Remove the durian pie from the oven and let it cool completely before serving. 2. Once cooled, slice the pie into wedges and serve. You can also refrigerate it for a few hours before serving for a chilled version.
