Drumstick Pie

Savory Drumstick Pie: Ingredients: – Chicken drumsticks – Pie crust (store-bought or homemade) – Vegetables (such as carrots, peas, and potatoes) – Chicken broth – Onion

– Garlic – Flour – Butter – Salt and pepper – Herbs (thyme, rosemary, etc.)

Instructions: Preheat the oven according to the pie crust instructions.  Season the chicken drumsticks with salt, pepper, and herbs. Bake them in the oven until fully cooked.

While the drumsticks are cooking, prepare the filling. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic in butter until softened. Add diced vegetables and cook until they start to soften.

Stir in flour to create a roux, then gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Once the chicken drumsticks are cooked, remove the meat from the bones and add it to the vegetable mixture.

Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish. Pour the chicken and vegetable mixture into the crust.



Cover the filling with another layer of pie crust, sealing the edges. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.  Bake the pie in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown.
