Cherry Bliss Pie

Ingredients: For the Crust: – 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs – 1/3 cup melted butter – 1/4 cup sugar

For the Filling: – 4 cups fresh or canned cherries, pitted – 1 cup sugar – 1/4 cup cornstarch – 1/4 teaspoon almond extract – 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Topping: – 1 cup heavy cream – 2 tablespoons powdered sugar – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – Fresh cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar for the crust. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust



In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, and cornstarch for the filling. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in almond extract and vanilla extract. Let it cool for a few minutes.

1. Pour the cherry filling into the prepared crust and spread it evenly. 2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then continue whipping until stiff peaks form.

1. Spread the whipped cream over the cherry filling, creating a smooth layer. 2. Optional: Garnish with fresh cherries on top for a decorative touch. 3. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
