Stuff the Dates:
Take a small amount of softened goat cheese or cream cheese (about 1 teaspoon) and stuff it into the center of each date. Optionally, you can add a few chopped nuts for extra texture.
Wrap with Bacon:
Wrap each stuffed date with a half-slice of bacon. Secure with toothpicks to keep the bacon in place.
Arrange in the Air Fryer:
Place the bacon-wrapped dates in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are not touching each other to ensure even cooking.
Cook in the preheated air fryer for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time. Keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking; cooking times can vary based on your air fryer model.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the cheesy bacon-wrapped dates to cool for a few minutes before serving. The cheese inside will be hot, so be cautious.
Serve with a Dip (Optional):
You can serve these delicious treats on their own or with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as a balsamic reduction or a honey-mustard dip.
