Caprese Grilled Cheese

Ingredients: 1. Bread slices (white, whole grain, or your preferred type) 2. Fresh tomatoes, thinly sliced 3. Fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

1. Fresh basil leaves 2. Butter or olive oil for spreading on the bread 3. Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Assemble the Sandwich: – Lay out your bread slices and butter one side of each slice (this will be the outer side of the sandwich). – Place a layer of fresh mozzarella cheese on the non-buttered side of one bread slice.

– Add a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes on top of the mozzarella. – Place fresh basil leaves on the tomatoes. – Top with another layer of mozzarella cheese. – Place the second bread slice on top, buttered side facing out.

Cook the Sandwich: – Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat. – Place the assembled sandwich on the skillet and cook until the bread becomes golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.

Carefully flip the sandwich with a spatula and cook the other side until it's also golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.



Serve: – Once the sandwich is cooked to your liking, remove it from the skillet. – Optionally, drizzle with balsamic glaze for added flavor.
