Blueberry Pie Fries

Ingredients: For the Blueberry Filling: – 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon cornstarch – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For the Pie Crust Fries: – 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (or homemade if you prefer) – 1/4 cup melted butter – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. In a medium saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and cinnamon for the filling. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and the blueberries release their juices.

Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Using a pizza cutter, cut the pie crust into strips resembling fries.

1. Place the pie crust fries on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving some space between each strip. 2. Brush the pie crust fries with melted butter, then sprinkle them with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the fries are golden brown and crispy. 2. Allow the pie crust fries to cool slightly before serving. Serve them with the blueberry filling for dipping.

These Blueberry Pie Fries are a fun and delicious treat that combines the best elements of blueberry pie and the convenience of finger food. Enjoy!
