Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients: – 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced – 2 cups broccoli florets – 1/2 cup soy sauce – 1/4 cup oyster sauce – 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce – 2 tablespoons cornstarch

– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil – 3 cloves garlic, minced – 1 teaspoon ginger, grated – 1 tablespoon sesame oil – 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish) – Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions: 1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to make the sauce. 2. Marinate the sliced beef in half of the sauce for about 15-30 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.

1. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. 2. Add broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.

1. Return the cooked beef to the wok and pour in the remaining sauce. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. 2. Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and toss to combine.
