Air Fryer Tostones with Creamy Mojo Dipping Sauce

Air Fryer Tostones: Ingredients: – 2 green plantains – 2 tablespoons vegetable oil – Salt, to taste

Instructions: 1. Peel the Plantains:Cut off the ends of the plantains and score the skin along the length of the fruit. Peel away the skin and cut the plantains into 1-inch thick slices.

Preheat the Air Fryer: – Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Air Fry: – Place the plantain slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. – Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Flatten the Plantains: – Remove the plantains from the air fryer and flatten each slice using the bottom of a glass or a flat surface. You can place the slices between parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Air Fry Again: – Return the flattened plantains to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
