Air Fryer Crunchy Chili-Spiced Chickpeas

Ingredients: – 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 teaspoon chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon cumin

– 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika – 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste for spiciness) – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/2 teaspoon onion powder – Salt and black pepper to taste

1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). 2. Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

In a bowl, mix the chickpeas with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spices.

Place the seasoned chickpeas in the air fryer basket, spreading them out in a single layer for even cooking.

Air fry the chickpeas at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure they cook evenly. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning, as cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer.
