Air-Fried Apple Pie Bites

For the Apple Filling

– 2 medium-sized apples  – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter – 2 tablespoons brown sugar – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg – 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For Assembling and Air Frying

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar  – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon  – Cooking spray or melted butter

Prepare the Apple Filling

– In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. – Add the diced apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour to the saucepan. Stir to combine.

Prepare the Pastry

– If using refrigerated pie crusts, allow them to come to room temperature according to package instructions. – On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pie crusts to about 1/8-inch thickness.



Assemble the Apple Pie Bites

– Place a small spoonful of the prepared apple filling in the center of each pie crust circle. – Fold the circles in half to create half-moon shapes, enclosing the apple filling.

Air Fry the Apple Pie Bites

– Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). – Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with melted butter. – Arrange the apple pie bites in a single layer in the air fryer baske


– Allow the apple pie bites to cool for a few minutes before serving. – Optional: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent treat.
